I must have made one at some point, because I've got similar issues with not being able to track what account my game is tied to. I'll probably have to get in touch with support a number of times to get it sorted out.

Yea i'm not sure they ever sent a confirmation email of your acct. Hell I have a support ticket from '07 and a several guru registrations that date back further still stuffed away on my one email account, but no account information.

And unforunately that support ticket was pre-account names back when ncsoft used email address still. That really pissed me off when i found that ticket and was like YES i got my acct name. WRONG. Was such a slap in the face. haha

yeah i don't remember what info i used when i created one, and i don't remember tying my guild wars account to one but it says it is tied to one and i can't get the site to do anything for me except time out all the time. and going through support is a pain because they want all this info that has probably changed for most people over the last 3 or 4 years. this is the worst thing i think i have ever seen by the guild wars staff. I mean if this is free for everyone just give it to everyone.

I think perhaps they where thinking if people visited the ncsoft store they would purchase other stuff, but at this point it has done the opposite. I will never buy any additional content from the ncsoft store because of this. and the site never working? what did they expect? there are 6 million guild wars users, you would think they would expect those users to try and get on the site and get this free pane. again if something is going to be free why not just activate it on everyones accounts? it is after all free for all users right?

I have the same....I never use it so completely forgot my account details...already contacted support who said they'd get back in 24 hours...don't think that's gonna happen because that time is pretty much up.

I'm in the same boat. I have no recollection of ever creating an NCsoft account. I did manage to get a ticket started and have already received a promising answer by a real person, asking me for more information. I started my ticket almost a full day before the free storage was revealed though, for other reasons than to get free storage. I hope I'll stay ahead of the pack.

One thing thing that might hugely impact players with this issue, I suspect that down the line, when GW2 arrives, we'll need access to our NCsoft master accounts to connect GW2 with our GW accounts. If some players can't, there will be hell to pay, and the magnitude of messageboard anger will be unprecedented.

See, I remember making a PlayNC account, but...I remember my account name being my email address.

However, going through my emails, I can find no record of it whatsoever. And obviously I can't log in using my email address as it's longer than the username box.

Sigh.

Edit: And of course, once I finally do remember what my username was, the site stops loading again. *facedesks*

whats funny is I got the ncsoft site to send me my password one way and it gave my username and password and showed my login username as my email address even though it won't let me log in that way. thats helpful. so apparently its impossible to log into my account now because they changed the way you log in or something?

I finally remembered my username (well I think it's my username because the secret questions look familiar), but cant remember my password...When I can *finally* get the 'Forgot Password?' screen up, I think I know my secret question answers but then it asks you to type in the number/letters that the image shows...but no image shows ><

Curse you super slow site and super complicated username garbage!

I don't NEED a plaync soft account in reality, but they make me use one to do certain things in unnecessary ways.

/SIGNED! I'd much rather see this in the ingame store as I have to log into GW to use it....God knows what my PW is for NCSoft and they're not being helpful in the recovery department. /sigh

I don't see why this wasn't just an option at the named Zaishen agents by the storage boxes with a nice link to the stores like the makeover asuran.

Another thing, I finally do manage to get a pass reqest sent to my e-mail with a temp pass, IT DOESN'T WORK.

When you purchase something from the In Game Store for the first time is when you create your PlayNc account, you just dont know it, I wrote them about that some years ago and they just gave me the info I needed to log in.

didn't you have to make one for like Dungeon Runner, one for Exteel, one for Tabula Rasa when it goes free and One for Guild Wars online store?
